The Lone Star Chapter is proud to run 2 more racing events in 2010 in the Dallas area.
The first is a Club Racing School. It is designed for the intermediate to advanced driver to be exposed to skills that can't be taught in a normal DE. While the school is required to get a BMW CCA Club Racing license, a desire to race is not required. A race prepped car is not required either. This event is scheduled for June 26/27, 2010 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Slidell, TX. Cost for this event is $395, but will include a 10% discount towards the October DE (or race if you decide to race).
The second is a very special race at Eagles Canyon in Slidell, TX. This is the normal race we have run in years past, but this year the race is designated by BMW CCA CR as the North American Challenge Race for the Eastern half of the US. We expected to have a larger than normal field of BMW racers due to the expanded points races (3 versus the normal 2 and all points are double points races!). People that are going for National Championships will be in attendence.
Hotels & Camping/RVs:
Camping and RVs are allowed at the track with arrival early Friday morning staying to Sunday afternoon. Restroom & shower facilities only open during track hours (8am 'til dusk).
