1/1/2025 (Wed): 9:00a Hair of the Dog Tour: Ring in the New Year with a enjoyable drive starting from Mansfield’s Kroger Marketplace (3300 E Broad St, Mansfield, TX 76063). We’ll make a loop down toward Waco and then end at Del Norte Tacos in Godley, TX. 1/12 (Sun): 9:30a – 11:00a Mid Cities Cars and Friends: Come out and show off your car or talk with some friends. We’ll be at the old Steak & Shake building next to Shipley’s Donuts at 6417 Precinct Line Rd North Richland Hills, TX 76182.
1/19 (Sun): 9:30a – 11:00a Carrollton Cars and Friends: Come out and show off your car or talk with some friends. We’ll meet at The Human Bean Café at 2661 Midway Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006. Park to the right-side of the entrance across from The Café.
2/1 (Sat): McKinney to Mineola. Starting from BMW of McKinney (2601 N Central Expy, McKinney, TX 75071) at 9:00a, we’ll head out toward Mineola with plans to stop at the East Texas Burger Company (126 E Broad St Mineola, TX 75773). 2/9 (Sun): Board Meeting 2:00p-4:00p. All members are welcome to join the chapter’s board as we discuss past events, upcoming events and the needs of the chapter. 3/8 (Sat) Amelia Island – 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of BMW NA and the BMW 3-series. You can be part of it with a show-worthy 3-Series – both M and non-M. To participate, you will need to submit some photos and an application to Paul Seto of the National Capital Chapter and the ///M Chapter (pseto@hotmail.com). If you don’t have a show-worthy car, you are welcome to attend the show, too.
3/8 (Sat) 1:00p – after dinner – Dinner in Waco at Homestead Café. In 2022, a group of us drove a twisty route down to visit Waco Homestead Craft Village (https://www.homesteadcraftvillage.com/), explored the various hand-crafted products and had dinner at the Café. In December 2022, the café burned down. They were able to rebuild better in 4 months (https://youtu.be/ryra7BXgaC8) and we’ll head back and see what’s changed. 3/16 (Sun): 9:00a-4:00p – AutoX #1 @ Lone Star Park. Autocross (AutoX) is a low-speed obstacle course pitting you against your friends for the Fastest Time of the Day. We have multiple classes based on your car, any modifications and horsepower. All makes are welcome to participate and it’s a great way to learn how your car handles on various conditions. Registration opens two weeks prior to the event. Typically, you get 5 runs in the morning and 5 runs in the afternoon, but that is dependent on weather conditions.
3/25/2025 (Tues): Medal of Honor Museum opens in Arlington, TX. We’ll make plans to attend soon after (please watch the Facebook page and our member emails).
4/5 (Sat): Bluebonnet Tour. (10:00a) meet in Palmer, Texas (1639 N I-45, Palmer, TX 75152). We’ll enjoy a very low speed caravan around the Ennis, TX area to look at Bluebonnets. J.O. Miller will be leading this one so please RSVP to jojylmiller@aol.com if you can join us.

4/13-4/16 (Sun-Wed): Big Bend Tour. The Lone Star Chapter is setting up a 2025 Big Bend trip. Email tours@lscbmwcca.org and watch our Facebook and member emails for hotel details. Typically, we stop in Big Bend National Park, McDonald Observatory and try to see the Marfa Lights.
4/27-4/30 (Sun-Wed): Mid-America Eureka Springs. The BMW 2002 group is having their semi-annual trip to Eureka Springs. Reach out if you want to connect with like-minded BMW-enthusiasts and get a caravan going out there.
New 4/28: 5/3 (Sat) 8:15a: Caravan to M-Pact at COTA. Ray and J.O. will lead a group down to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin to assist with the BMW CCA booth at the M-Pact event. More information about M-Pact: https://www.mpacteast.com/circuit-of-the-americas-cota. We’ll start from QuikTrip at Beltline & I-30 near Lone Star Park at 8:15a and head down to have lunch and enter the event. Tickets for the event need to be purchased through the M-Pact site.
5/15-5/18 (Thu-Sun): Texas Roundel Roundup. Our first Texas-based chapters are creating a mini-O’fest in Granbury, TX. 5/24 (Sat): High Performance Driver’s Education at Cresson. We’ll have the opportunity for a 1-day Track Day in Cresson. Get your car ready to run at high speeds. This event is great for new drivers and experienced drivers. For those new to the event, driving on track has its own rules to keep everyone safe and you will get to join a group of like-minded individuals running around, learning about your limits of you and your car. Watch for our signup link in a monthly email notification.

6/12(Thu): Dinner at Branded Burger Co (Hillsboro, TX) (7:00p). For a few summer-social events, we’ll have dinner at a few different places in the DFW area. For our first, we’ll meet up in Hillsboro around 7:00p at Branded Burger Co (100 W Elm St, Hillsboro, TX 76645). They are open until 8:00p and then we’ll head back to DFW. New 4/28: 6/14 (Sat): Street Survival The Chapter will assist in coming together to help teens drive better on the street through the BMW CCA Foundation program called Street Survival. For more information about the program: https://streetsurvival.org/
6/19(Thu): Dinner at Rustico Wood Fired Grill and Wine Bar (Flower Mound, TX) (7:00p). This is an up-scale dinner destination and does have a dress code (see https://www.therusticogrill.com). Updated 4/28: 6/21 (Sat): McKinney Loop Tour (9:00a) We’ll start from the historic downtown McKinney and head out for a loop around McKinney area and then return to historic downtown. This tour is to allow us to bring a spouse that would like to shop or explore while we drive the cars around the area. 7/12 (Sat): Talimena Scenic Byway (8:30a). Staring from Buc-ee’s Melissa, we’ll take an all-day trip up to the Talimena Scenic Byway. 7/18 (Fri) (8:30a): Blue Bell Creamery Visit – Brenham, TX – Bring your kids for a quick trip down (hah, 4 hours) to Brenham, TX where we will attempt to visit the creamery (opened M-F 8a-2p) and the visitor center is open until 5p. We’ll have lunch, check out some ice cream and then head back home. We’ll plan to start from Waxahachie, TX. 9/12-9/14 (Fri-Sun): Galveston Trip. Phil will lead the group down to Galveston and find some interesting adventures for us. We’ll potentially visit NASA, San Jacinto, eat dinner on the Gulf of Mexico and see some interesting colors and architecture.

11/8 (Sat), 10a-2p: Veteran’s Day Trip to Fortunata Winery. Join us in Grapevine, TX as we celebrate Veteran’s day. From Grapevine, we’ll circle around and end up in Aubrey, TX for a late lunch/early dinner at Fortuna Winery.

Watch our announcement for what our Christmas Lights destination will be – this has been the Interlochen Neighborhood in Arlington, the Deerfield Neighborhood in Plano, Texas Motor Speedway Lights or we can look at a few other options. After looking at lights, we like to have dinner together and enjoy the holidays.
