Since we told everyone at the club’s HPDE weekend, I will spill the beans here now.

Lone Star, Tejas, and Houston Chapters have joined together to host a Club Race/ HPDE/ Autocross/ Car Show, 3 day weekend in March of 2013 at “The Circuit of Americas”.

The date is not completely set YET, but we feel we are over 95% sure of this happening. Spaces will be limited and hard to come by. Members who have participated in the clubs HPDE’s and Autocrosses will be given a 3 day advanced window to register for this event first, then remaining spots open to the 3 chapters members for another 3 days before BMWCCA national members being able to register.

If one saying ever held true for this event, it is “YOU SNOOZE YOU LOOSE”. Don’t wait to register or you will not get a spot. We are extremely proud to offer our chapter members this opportunity. Stay tuned for when the registration opens!

Lone Star Chapter BMW Autocross #9 – Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, and Mirrorkhana on the following Sunday, November 4th at the Mineral Wells Airport.

Registration is now open for the 2012 LSC BMWCCA AX #9 Saturday, November 3rd, 2012.

Even if you’ve never autocrossed before, come on out at give it a try. Instructors are provided for novices, and people wanting to try the sport.

Cost is $30.00 each day for BMWCCA members. Pay for both days and save $10!

Online registration is available until 9PM the Friday before each event. On-Site Registration WILL BE AVAILABLE for these events!!!!!! On-Site Registration is an additional $10 for each day.

Tech Inspection:

All participant vehicles must pass Tech Inspection on site.
Tech Inspection begins at 8am and will close at 9am.

Mandatory Driver’s meeting at 9am.

First car will start around 9:30am.

We will have 5 runs in the morning heat, and 5 runs in the afternoon heat. 10 total runs per driver!

Rides in instructor vehicles are free. A helmet must be worn. There are a limited number of loaner helmets available for those that do not own their own helmet. (Helmets must be rated M-2005 or SA-2005 or newer)

If you want to drive in the event you must register, and be a current BMWCCA Member.

Cost is $35.00 for BMWCCA members if you register before September 25th. After September 24th, the cost increases to $45.00, so REGISTER EARLY!

IMPORTANT: There are no free events given at TMS for new BMW Members.
