COVID-19 Autocross Event Guidelines

These guidelines will be in effect starting 6/1/2020 until further Notice.

Anyone who disregards these guidelines at an LSC BMW CCA autocross event, will be asked to leave.

Social Distancing

Maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance to others at all times (Driver’s Meeting, Novice Walk, Course Walk, etc.).

To achieve the goal of social distancing, please leave extra space between cars in the Paddock and at the Grid.

No people in the Timing Van except for Timing personnel.

No in car instruction will be offered.  No passengers allowed by anyone. 

No spectators allowed.

Protection & Sanitization

Wearing of a mask is highly recommended when outside of your car or if you are not wearing a closed face helmet. Any time the 6 feet distance is more difficult to maintain, a mask is required to wear (e.g. in the timing van).

Wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer frequently during the day.

    Switching run groups

  • Corner Captains to bring in radios and flags for sanitization
  • Starter and Timing personnel to hand over radio for sanitization

Registration & Waivers

No Onsite registration will be available.

A waiver station will be available by the trailer by 08:00.
Each driver will be a handed a single use pen to sign the waiver. You may keep the pen or place it in the trash. A wrist band will be handed to you upon signing.

Equipment

No loaner helmets will be available.

No water will be provided.

Operation

Run Order and Worker Assignments will be posted online and emailed the night before the event.

Novices are asked to run with hazards on for the first 2 runs.

Health

If you are sick or don’t feel well, stay home.
